Another work day, but I was not exhausted after work for once. I spent like most of the day with Arknights, trying to get to 540 risk in Pinch Out. Think of it as like 18 risk in CCs past if you remember me mentioning those, but with Pinch Out 540 just gives a big chunk of currency; you get most of it by clearing individual risks, which I honestly like. I also don't think I can even do 540 risk, I think my current setup just caps at 520 and I don't see a way to go higher.
I've also been trying to think of my cube some more. I was thinking of not explaining it as a joke but I do like actually wanna talk about it a little. A cube in MtG is basically a draft format you design yourself. If you think of a regular 8 person draft, then a regular cube, at minimum, is 8 players * 3 packs * 15 cards = 360 cards. So you curate the list, get the cards, shuffle them all (through arcane magic), sort out the packs, and draft. And at the end, all the cards go back in the box for the next cube draft. My main problem right now is just thinking of the archetypes I wanna do. It's honestly all just me doing this for the first real time, but some of it is just decision paralysis. Though like as I'm writing this I just got the advise of "don't worry about archetypes" so maybe it won't be that hard. Idk. I think I might go out to play modern for the first time in a while tomorrow, format got some bans and that's really what's finally gotten me re-interested in MtG.
